Re: Getting Healthy Check-In

  • * Warning – loss briefly mentioned *

    1) Goals?
Lose about 15 lbs.

    2) How has your progress been this week?
Pre-Thanksgiving, I had lost about 2 ½ lbs. last week. Post-Thanksgiving, I was up about 1 lb. over my starting weight! I think most of it was retained water from all the sodium though because the next day, I peed like crazy and was a lb. below my starting weight again the next morning. Thankfully, Christmas isn’t for a few more weeks, so hopefully, things will stabilize now.

    3) What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)? Continuing with the P90X phase 1 diet plan and MFP tracking. I also am exercising (weight training and cardio) at least 4 days per week.

    4) Best part of your week? This is probably TMI, but I have FINALLY stopped bleeding from my loss on 10/3. In addition to getting back in shape, it feels good to have my body back to “normal”.

    5) Worst part of your week? Probably the earthquake that shook me awake and scared the bejezus out of MH and I on Sunday night. Thankfully, no injuries or property damage reported though!

QOTW - How do you reward yourself when you meet your goals or stay on track for the week? My favorite way to treat myself is with getting new workout clothes or gear.

  • 1) Goals?

38 to start talking IVF and really 68

    2) How has your progress been this week?

Up water weight that came off yesterday (I often can retain. 3lbs it's insane) hopefully down for weigh in Wednesday tomorrow...:)

    3) What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)?

Calories, clean, south beach, and Zumba and the gym

    4) Best part of your week?

Sleep :)

    5) Worst part of your week? The horrific outfit SIL wore on thanksgiving

QOTW - How do you reward yourself when you meet your goals or stay on track for the week? Big goals something shiny... I also really need to get back into a reward routine other than the main goal of a baby... Too daunting... Also I plan to buy new bras and underwear when I hit 100lbs lost... I am still wearing my 340lb ones believe it or not :( I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing

  • @madeline10L‌ leggings as pants, a Lycra Cami that didn't cover anything important and an open cardigan that also didn't cover anything it should have... She is also not a thin girl... I actually felt bad because she clearly thought she looked good :(

  • 1) Goals?

 Lose 30-35 lbs.

    2) How has your progress been this week?

Well, we went to Vegas over Thanksgiving for a long weekend...  But otherwise, we've been good about going to the gym or walking every day, so I'm going to call it a wash.

    3) What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)?

Workout 5 days a week, try to cut out unnecessary snacking.

    4) Best part of your week?

A quick visit with my mom and brother on Sunday.

    5) Worst part of your week?  Three hours of yard work yesterday.

QOTW -  How do you reward yourself when you meet your goals or stay on track for the week?  I really don't.  In the past "rewards" have always come in the form of food, and now, I think it's best to avoid that...
