When is your busiest time at work?

Beginning of the fiscal year (Oct - Dec) when Everyone gets their $$.

Usually it's around the end of the quarter since some of the landfills and things will be rushing to get stuff sent in. Summer is also usually bad since we have both our normal stuff and things like outside swimming pools and beaches to analyze water.

This is one reason I'm glad I took vacation. We have a department that handles if things are coming in or not. They insisted that we'd be slow this week. Lies.

We're pretty busy at the end and beginning of the year. We try to sell off/get rid of as much inventory as possible before the end of the year to avoid higher property taxes. As for the beginning of the year, most companies get their budgets renewed and they are looking to buy new equipment.

I'm busiest prior to our 3 meetings. Usually in early March, mid-late May and late September or early October.

Also, right now is the time of year for offices to do their yearly HIPAA training and I administer that so I get super busy with that.

At the grocery store Thanksgiving is the busiest because people really only do meals within a one week span. Christmas is busy, but not more than Thanksgiving because people pretty much just do dinner on Christmas or within a few days.

The library is busiest in summer when kids are out of school. Parents often see the library as a free babysitting service and let their kids stay there all day. But that's another rant for another day.

The beginning of the school year is really busy, early September, then again during state testing in April and finally all of June because we're trying to close out the year and there is a lot of paperwork that goes with that.

When new tax legislation comes out and when new numbers are published, so like July-Nov and Jan-March.

Beginning, End and everything in the middle--b/t the start of the school year with schedule changes, the senior interviews, then the holidays or a full moon the kids are off the wall, state testing at the end of Jan, the start of the spring semester, then scheduling all the students for the following year into the spring and last but not least state testing in June and graduation, then summer school registration...it never ends!!!
