Now it's my turn...help dress me!

D's work party is next week and I've narrowed down my dress options. Well, I should say I chose a dress and D chose one for me to wear...The party is at a fancy night club and consists of dinner and an open bar. Most of the men wear dress pants and a shirt while the women either wear dresses more suited for a bar or something really frumpy (that sounds so mean, I know. But it's true!!).

I chose the purple dress with sleeves because I have yet to wear it (and have had it for over 2 years) and D chose the other dress because he said it looks good. But I've worn it a lot!

I'd wear black shoes and a black cardigan with both. Shoe options are also shown!

I think they are both pretty but I like the purple one with the Mary-Janes. I think you need something sparkly to jazz the outfit up a bit. Maybe a statement necklace or a nice pair of sparkly earrings.

My jewelry choices are limited...I've got a necklace with a mix of pearly beads and diamondy ones or a chain of square links. I was probably going to wear diamond stud earrings with either dress.

I also like the purple dress, but I'm biased because it's my favorite color. And I agree that you should add some bling. I think either of the necklaces you described would look nice.

I vote red dress and mary janes. And wear that sparkly necklace!

I love the purple one!! I'd probably go with the mary janes. As much as I love those boots, I think the other shoes would look better.

So far purple is looking like the winner. I'm leaning towards that one, especially since I tried it on and it is getting tight. If I don't wear it this year I know it will be waaaaaay too tight next year.
