For real spoilers, so if you haven't read it I would suggest not going any further.
WTAF was that ending? And how am I supposed to feel about it? I am a little annoyed that Ethan is dead, actually, but I don't want to be. Please tell me the series is still ok without Ethan. And that I'm not going to have to read about Merit brood over him or be upset with whatever guy she decides to move on to after him. I just don't know that I love where this series is heading now. I have the next audiobook, but I might wait a bit to start it because I just don't know. Ugh.

@EliStar this was book 4 where Selena kills Ethan and then Merit kills Selena. Merit was investigating the drug V and it turned out that the mayor was behind it.
I guess this will push Merit to join the Red Guard and that wouldn't be so bad. I was just finally ready for Ethan and Merit to get it together.

This is kind of what I was worried about. I did start the next one though, so we'll see!!
There is something that has already bothered me a bit in the next book, but I'm waiting to see if anything comes of it before I decide.
I was telling @SnShne322 that I do love some good vampire drama and this series is delivering!
