progesterone withdrawal test question
hello ladies!
I'm a frequent lurker here...H and I are not TTC yet (we're planning to start in the spring), but I'm hoping you might have some input/advice.
I've been taken off BCP for other reasons earlier this year. My first cycles off were 178 days and 70 days....I'm on day 27 of my current cycle (so not outside of normal fro this cycle yet) my PCP referred me to an RE just because I was originally put on BCPs for irregular periods and didn't have a work-up at that time and she knows H and I are looking to start TTC in the spring.
anyways, the RE did a bunch of blood work and said she'd like to do a progesterone withdrawal test...I haven't picked up the prescription yet. I'm headed out of town for the weekend for a bridal shower...and would rather not be dealing with hormone side-effects. have any of you done a progesterone withdrawal test? did you experience any side-effects?
TIA!

Re: progesterone withdrawal test question
Edited because spelling is hard.
Bumping this from a few weeks ago...I think I've basically failed the progesterone test. I finished the pills on 12/20 and I've had nothing more than spotting since then.
Do any of you know what this means? My doctor is on vacation and Dr. Google is unhelpful
Obviously, I would still bring it up to your doctor when you can but that is my personal experience with it.
