I finished HP and the HBP last night and will be starting the last book today. I think I'm only at #37 for the year. My goal is 40 but I'd like to go higher. I have the whole week of Christmas off this year so it just might happen too.

I am about halfway done with holiday shopping. I'm okay with it, except I still have to buy something for my niece and sister that has to be shipped and if I don't pick something soon I'm going to have to ship it directly to their house from a website, which sucks.

I need to get my Granny's gift and my mother's, but it's just a matter of placing the order. I know what I'm getting for them already.

I am reading The Cypress House by Michael Koryta and Ice Bound: A Doctor's Incredible Battle for Survival at the South Pole by Jerri Nielsen

These are books #117 & 118 for the year. I am really starting to get into the Michael Koryta one. I have never read his books before but have always wanted to.

Holiday shopping can kiss my ass. I hate shopping for the holidays. But I did buy myself this adorable top the other day

I'm half way through Dead But Not Forgotten: Stores from the World of Sookie Stackhouse, # 96 for the year. Not loving it, but i'm determined to finish. Have a pile of much better books waiting to be read.

No where near close to being finished with shopping. I've barely started. I'm so behind this year.

I am reading the My True Love Gave to Me Anthology and the fifth book in the Kitty and the Midnight Hour series. I am a little bummed that I accidentally checked out like book ten instead of book six. I think there must have been some weirdness with the publisher or something. The first has been great and I am just about to start the other. I think I am somewhere around 140 for the year. I would like to get to 150.

I am behind. I have gotten a two things for my H (a graphic novel and a bag of mixed candy) and nothing for anyone else yet. I might have also done a nice amount of shopping for me

I am hopeful to be 90% done with shopping by the end of the weekend and to get things mailed out on Monday. Still have to figure out what else to get my H. We are doing a $50 limit this year and it is sad how far that seems to go.

Just got Rock Chick Reckoning from Overdrive so I really want to start that.

Christmas shopping is going well. Pretty much done with the boys. Need to buy stocking stuffers for them all and figure out what to get for Tim's nieces and nephews. None of that will happen till the 19th though, money is tight.

I finished a book last night and have Damsel Distressed waiting to be picked up at the library later! Until then I'm paying bills and wrapping presents and may find a Christmas audiobook.

I'm almost done. I need to get one thing for DD's godmother and something else for my dad and I think that's it. Hopefully I'm not forgetting anything.

I'm about 70% through Gone Girl and loving all of the turns it's taking.

I also started the audio book of Off to Be the Wizard by Scott Meyer and it's pretty meh for me so far. The only reason I've kept at it is that my son keeps asking to hear it in the car. I'm hoping it picks up.

As far as holiday shopping goes, I've gotten a few books and things for the boys, (and one book for me) but that's it. I have no idea what to to get for my husband. He's been out of work for a few months so I can't really go crazy, so I don't know what to do yet.

I just finished Dark Places ... It was really good and my head will be spinning the rest of the day I am sure. I plan to hopefully start another one tonight. It was #75 for the year, which was my newest goal. I won't be able to reach 100 but I may try to hit 80.

I am 90% done with Christmas shopping. Only a few more people to buy for and that is it!

I'm reading You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero. I like it. It's like she's calling me out on all my crap, but it's really motivating me.

We're mostly done with Christmas shopping. I just need to do some crafty gifts with the kids, and everyone will be done.

I'm reading 'The King's Curse' by Philippa Gregory. It's just okay. It's not for a challenge but it is #79 for the year.

I am so close to being done shopping, hopefully after this weekend. The worst part is wrapping and packing stuff to mail to all my family out of state. The post office makes me cringe.

You know, I think i've bought more for myself than others. I did snag a cute dress on sale for $30 so ... win.
