  • I have a bunch of favorites on our tree but there are 3 that are my absolute favs.  Two are ones that I made after we got married.  I printed out our ceremony and cut each line into a strip.  Then I curled them and put them into clear glass Christmas balls.  I topped them with bows and we each get to hang one on the tree.

My third fav is one that my mom made.  Its probably from 1978 or 1979.  Its a Styrofoam ball with beads attached with hat pins.  I adore it.  If DH finds it before I do he always makes sure to give it to me to hang on the tree.

  • I have my nieces handprint on an ornament from the year she was born. Also one with strips like Minionlover was describing that my niece and nephew made a few years back.

I really love any of the handmade ones from the kids in our lives.

  • There are three--we each have an individual ornament. H got me a metal Hello Kitty last year and I got him one that is green and has the crest from Legend of Zelda on it. We also have one with our wedding year and photo in it that was a gift when we got married.

  • My faves are all the ones we got on our honeymoon at a Christmas store.  Two are little sock monekys and the others are dipped leaves.

  • We have a little porcelain bride and groom with our names and wedding date, a replica of the southermost point in key west (from our honeymoon) and a "mr and mrs 2012" from our first Christmas as a married couple.

  • I love all the ones we get every year.  First Christmas living together, new home, just married... but If I had to pick one, it's the Mom one H got me this year.

  • My very favorite is one at my parents house still. It's a deep yellow crescent moon with a little girl in pink pj's and brown hair sleeping on the moon. My name is written in gold paint.

At our house, my mom ordered us photo ornaments for our wedding and for our first house. We also have one from our honeymoon at atlantis that blinks!

  • Both of our mothers got us "Just Engaged" ornaments the year we got engaged. I like those a lot.

I'm an Elvis fan. H's sisters have gotten me 2 Elvis ornaments over the years.

Before we got engaged, I saw candy cane initial ornaments. I got us an S and J for our first Christmas together.
  • It's hard to pick out a favorite. We collect ornaments. We get a personalized one every year and we get one every time we go away on vacation. The tree is 80 % filled with ornaments that have meaning to us. We got the baby his first one too! I will probably get my nieces / nephews ones every year when my sisters have kids. The two little girls I ued to babysit for (they were in my wedding party) I have been getting them personalized ornaments since 2002, and plan on keeping that going for a while longer. Clearly I have an obsession with ornaments LOL!
  • I feel lame.  We never do personalized ornaments so I don't really have a favorite.  We bought my stepdaughters some ballerina ones last year that match our tree, and they love them so I guess those would be my favorite too.

H's aunt made us a similar ornament with strips of our wedding program inside of a clear ball. It's one of my favorites too.

    My other favorites are:
    My Nonna's (great-grandmother's) ornaments
The Bird Ornament that I've had forever
The Murano glass ornaments that we bought in Venice
