Re: TTC Tuesday

  • TTCers:

Cycle/Month: 1 of "TTW" (side eye TTC)

CD/DPO: something DPO, another long cycle :(  I've lost some weight recently so I think that kind of has me out of whack.

    W2O or 2WW? 2WW

Testing plans: BFN last night.  Cramping and bloating now, just waiting for AF.

Chart stalks/rants/Thoughts:  I can have mimosas on Christmas morning, so there's that.  Sometimes I get this creepy feeling like for all those times I desperately only wanted to see one line on the test, now that I want to see two it won't happen.  Bah.

  • TTCers:

    Cycle/Month: 10/10 i think

    CD/DPO: CD8

    W2O or 2WW? W2O

    Testing plans: n/a

Chart stalks/rants/Thoughts: D is getting really bummed about me not being pregnant yet. He thought it would take far less time, but I'm a believer in everything happening for a reason so I'm not concerned anymore.  I've always wanted a baby born i fall, so maybe this will be my month.

Chart stalks/rants/Thoughts: I don't know. I have optimistic days and not. At least if it doesn't I'm off progesterone for a bit!

  • Pregnant Girls:

    How many weeks: 38

How are you feeling? My pelvis is sore. I keep having contractions but they come and go. Yesterday i had strong contractions for about 45 mins then it just stopped. I had some measurable contractions when I was at the doc last week and I was already around 4 cm dialated but since the contractions weren't painful they sent me home.

Rants/Thoughts/Bump pics? The doc told me last week if He doesn't make his arrival by 39 weeks they are going to induce. But they were certain He would be here by now.

How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? One week on Tuesday

How do you feel? Pretty good DH helps a lot with the overnights right now so we both get to sleep.  He goes back to work on Friday.

Any Milestones this week? He's back up to the weight he was when we left the hospital but not back to birth weight yet.

Rants/Thoughts/Baby pics? Nipple confusion is real!  I let the grandma's convince me that it would be ok to give him a nuk.  Afterwards I had a day of nonstop bad latching and only two diaper changes.  I was bawling my eyes out in the middle of the night.  I read an article about correcting nipple confusion and we are back on track.
Other than that and the slight diaper rash I'm dealing with right now everything is great.  A keeps having wet farts.  It's hard to keep up with them so it's making it difficult to clear up the rash.  Any tips?
A likes to sleep on your chest and not in his bassinet.  We've been working on it.  I refuse to co sleep so DH and I sleep in shifts.  We can get him to sleep in the bassinet for a few hours a night but that is it.  Then we take turns up holding him.  It's getting better slowly, but I have no idea what I am going to do Thursday night with DH working on Friday.
  • @goatlady12‌ we had good success with coconut oil as a wetness barrier when J was pooping all the time

  • @goatlady12 - some girls on my board slept with the swaddle blankets to get their smell on it and then used it. Baby would sleep on other places besides your chest.
