So P has a cold. Lily has been acting clingy and not really eating since Friday. I tried to say she was getting sick but P insisted it was just teeth. I've been up since 6 with Lily. She threw up several times this morning. My check engine light came on yesterday. The heater decided to stop working mid-morning and its cold and snowy today. I asked P to run to the store for some basic groceries since Lily wants to be touching me at all times. He's downstairs on his computer.
Just so over this weekend.
Re: Need a weekend redo
Went to Wal-Mart to pick up some sweat pants because walking out of the gym when it is 30-40F outside isn't fun. Somehow my trip to pickup two $6 pairs of sweats turned into buying a jogging suit and a $60 Wal-Mart bill.
On top of that, the second of the hospital bills have shown up. I'm still in a mood from not picking up the appliances that Joy said we were waiting until Black Friday to get. Not to mention still haven't got the gas line run that we needed to convert the range from electric to gas and for the grill hookup.
Oh and back to the better care of ourselves, we went for an exercise walk, but Joy seemed more interested in taking pictures of me in my jogging suit with the stroller (that sorta matches) than actually walking. So things were said about that and her desire to have every Christmas decoration in the neighbourhood and she's now in a mood....*sighs*
Sorry, I normally try not to say bad things about my wife on here, but I needed to vent....:(
Abby was born were super stressful and dh and I fought more than ever. Hang in there. I hope Lily feels better and Ryan overcomes the stage he's in.
I'm contemplating cutting out Abby's drinks overnight in hopes that she has less wet diapers and wake ups. DH is not exactly on board because we get drinks overnight as adults if we're thristy. We'll see. I can only stay up 2-4 hours in the middle of the night so many times before I'll crash.
Hope lily gets better!
He still never went to the store. And was up stairs earlier talking about calling in tomorrow since Lily is sick and just in case I get sick.
I think it's okay to vent and as humans we all get irritated with our spouses occasionally. Add a baby/toddler to the mix and someone is bound to be in a mood most of the time.
Reminds me of here sometimes. Joy complains about how much I snack, but she sits in front of me snacking all the time....:( Healthier than my snacking, but still snacking in my book.
And to celebrate, I made what I call the hershey kiss cookies last night.....:) So not good for ya.....:P
