Crib Cost
in GP Moms
If you don't mind answering, please share how much you spent on the crib. I'm in love with this crib but the cost is freaking me out a bit. It does have the conversion kits available for purchase, so at least we'd be able to use it for several years down the road. I'm just not in love with any other crib that I've seen and I think this one would be perfect for our little girl. Am I crazy to spend that much on a crib?

@carcrashheart - Have you thought about the rail covers to prevent the chew marks? My mom made some fleece ones that just tied on for my nephews.

The one DH loves is $399 but the conversion kit on top of that is an extra $300 dollars total. We will probably end up with the BRU one because I won't spend more than $400 on the crib alone.

I could not bring myself to spend $600 on a crib. Even with getting the rest of the our nursery furniture either free (already had/passed on by friends) or super cheap (rehabbed a $50 dresser).
