  I got so excited because I thought there was a live, tiny turtle hanging out on top of a trash can at the train station this morning.  You know, just a random turtle on a trashcan in 30 degree weather.  When I got closer, I realized it was a crumpled lollipop wrapper.

  I'm starting the cookie baking for the holiday today.  Cookies everyday until Christmas Eve.
  For the first time ever in my memory, I'm pretty meh about it.

  My foot is throbbing and I'm really uncomfortable.  I didn't expect it to be perfect 2 days after surgery, but it HURTS! And the meds they gave me just knock me out. They don't do much for the pain at all.

  I bought $66 worth of shampoo for myself instead of buying christmas gifts.

  I've been looking forward to hanging out with a friend of mine today all week. Except now she's saying she can't meet up until like 7 pm. I'm off tomorrow but I don't really want to do anything late either. It's too last minute to flake out but ugh.

  I am so not in the baking mood this year either!  Normally, in November, I'm planning my baking, making shopping lists, etc...  This year?  Nothing.

  Me too!  Usually I have the "list" of what days I am making what and schedule it all out based on what cookies are best after a few days and which cookies need to be eaten soon after baking.  This year I'm like...eh, I'll make these cookies.  Maybe they'll be ok by Christmas.

  This is how I feel about the entire month.  For the first time ever I am not even remotely excited for Christmas.  Too much other stuff going on and I am really struggling to get into it!

  I have never done anything to my eyebrows.  I have au natural out of control, take over my face eyebrows.  Maybe some day I will bite the bullet and get them done.  I am an eyebrow virgin.
