Re: Confession Friday
When I was pregnant, I was totally against my mom staying with us during the week when I went back to work. I caved because she was having health issues and I knew it'd be easier on her. She goes home tonight, I don't want her to. Jeff still works tonight and it's so nice to have extra hands. She also said after the holidays she might not have to stay all week. I keep telling her how nice it is to have her here... so has Jeff. I hope she keeps staying.
Jeff sucks at gifts, I usually pick stuff out on amazon and he buys it. It works for us. This year he did that, and got be 2 surprise gifts. It's bugging the sh!t out of me I don't know what they are!!! They are from Kohl's, and one is taller than me, about 5 inches wide and thin. WTH IS IT?!
And lastly, I think I'm being haunted. Yesterday morning my radio in my jeep kept changing channels. like 103.7 to 103.5 then back again. I tried 106.7 and again, it was going to 106.9. 101.9 to 102.1. So I'm only listening to my audio books in the jeep. THEN this morning the TV in the living randomly turned on while I was in the kitchen. NO ONE ELSE WAS UP! It's a newish house (3 years), new TV - less than a year. I think I'm going to ask if it's my papaw or my second dad next time it happens.... if @goatlady12 wasn't neck deep in newborn I'd message her.
@ramstein1027 I am sorry you're feeling that way. You are gorgeous and look perfect. Please stop looking at magazine pictures of these unrealistic looking women.
Whenever my sister had been diagnosed with the whole aneurysm thing earlier this year, I listened to the song "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles on repeat. I never told anyone that till now. The Beatles were our thing that she and I had in common now. I think I just needed to be reassured that things would be okay and George Harrison's voice telling me "Here Comes the Sun and I say it's alright..." was exactly what I needed to hear to get through things. Thankfully everything came back negative and she was fine. Last month, H and I took my sister and her boyfriend to Monroeville for the day. While at dinner, the song came on over the loudspeaker. I just smiled to myself.
I thought about this the other day because the Beatles cover band I went to see with H is coming to Pittsburgh. So I'm hopefully taking my sister as a graduation present. She has no idea.
