My Christmas Miracle!
Good news!!!!
I received a job offer this morning!!!!
It's for a medical/science writing position at a place I interviewed at in Nov. It's not exactly the advocacy/policy job that I envisioned, but it's a great place to start. Plus, medical writing is a great thing to have on your resume since it's such an in-demand skill.
When the HR lady called me, she said she felt like Santa delivering the good news on Christmas Eve! I start on 1/5.
Funny story: When she called, I was stirring a pot of caramel sauce for a cookie recipe that I'm making. Hot sugar and pure excitement is a very dangerous combination! I believe Bobby Flay calls hot sugar culinary Napalm, haha!
