Re: Getting Healthy Check-In

  • 1) Goals?

Currently, to make it thru these next 2 weeks without gaining any weight. ;) Ultimately, to lose about 15 lbs and fit better in clothes.

    2) How has your progress been this week?

HA! I'm really just avoiding the scale at this point.

    3) What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)?

Trying to eat more veggies than crap. Taking dogs for walks. Will head back to gym consistently in January.

    4) Best part of your week?

Moving to our new rental house. It was so awesome to have family and friends over helping us unload the truck. I didn't realize how much I missed everyone until that moment.

    5) Worst part of your week? Yesterday was a super long day at work, but that happens so rarely that I can't complain too much.

    *PR (not me)...

QOTW: What are you looking most forward to this holiday week? Seeing my brother who is home from Australia for the holiday along with the rest of my family. Admittedly, I am not looking forward to the tears that I will be shedding when I see my SIL tomorrow who's pregnant and due in January. I love her and am so happy for her and my bro, but it is going to be tough (already started crying this morning when talking to DH about it and crying now as I write this). :(

  • @FutureMrsWright2012‌ I'm so sorry for everything that you are going through. Creepy internet hugs for you!

    1) Goals?

Lose 100-125 pounds in no set time

    2) How has your progress been this week?

Meh. I have upped my Metformin to three times a day, and it is going well so far. I had a doctor appt this week, and I haven't gained as much weight as I thought I had in the last several months! I was glad to see that.

    3) What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)?

Eat less, eat healthier, work out

    4) Best part of your week?

Christmas (although It doesn't feel like Christmas at 70 degrees and thunderstorms), and getting two days off work this week!

    5) Worst part of your week? Nothing really bad has happened.

QOTW: What are you looking most forward to this holiday week? Good food and watching my niece and nephew (ages 2 and 5 respectively) open their presents.
