What was the best part about 2014?

Finding a church to go to. We had been looking since we were engaged, after our last church made some decisions we didn't agree with. We visited nearly every Christian church in our area but none felt right. Friends of ours who live near us invited us to theirs and we really enjoy it.

I had a blast on the vacation DH and I took to Williamsburg/OBX last May.

I don't want to upset anyone by saying this, but the best part of 2014 was definitely getting pregnant. Not just because I got pregnant, but because it happened naturally which I thought would never be possible. I spent a good part of 2013 depressed because of the trouble we were having. It was the best surprise and gift I've ever received.

I have a hard time with this because I can't help but think of how horrible the latter half has been. We bought our house, which is great. It's too big, which is a hard reminder, but I've got to keep reminding myself that we will fill it someday.

I think it's ok to say it's been a shitty year if you want to @LDubHawksFan. You're just being honest and it's healthy to admit when you're down. Hoping and praying for a 2015 that is a million times better for you!

It's okay @LDubHawksFan. I am having a hard time answering my own question. DH and I are also having a hard time filling our house. On Christmas Eve, I even had to hear about how our ex's had a baby recently and how beautiful he is. This was from our family members since they have seen the pictures.

I believe that 2015 will be better. I am getting a nice promotion that begins on January 1, I am going to get back into eating better and going to the gym and I am going to have a better year, damn it!!

It is hard. And it's not bad to admit it. I had a hard time thinking about it and just happened to remember our time away from it all.

@LDubHawksFan, I agree with @ramstein1027 and @minionlover. Sometimes, life is hard and things are just all around shitty. But, you are moving in the right direction and that's what matters. I really hope 2015 gives you everything you want and more!

I have to say getting to spend the whole year in our house and finally having a full year to ourselves. Getting my new car was also pretty exciting!

Best part had to be vacationing to Colorado. It was nice getting to see the sights with H's family and visiting family friends that I hadn't seen since I was a kid.

I do agree with some prior posts. This year hasn't been 100% amazing but hopefully 2015 brings on better things.

The best part for me was Wren being born & finally getting to meet the tiny human that had been growing inside me for the better part of the year.
I hope that 2015 is an awesome year for all of you ladies!
