New Years resolutions

What are your resolutions? How's it going?
Married 2011.
Baby Boy 2015.

Re: New Years resolutions

  • My resolution is to be more punctual. I had to skip coffee this morning, but I got to my meeting on time :)
    Married 2011.
    Baby Boy 2015.
  • I have three:
    1) To not concentrate on numbers on the scale, but to try to make healthy decisions and be more active.
    2) To stop spending like a drunken sailor and save more money.
    3) To organize my house better. My house looks super organized, until you open my cupboards.

    So far:
    -I made a meal plan for next week (and avoided buying unnecessary item at the grocery store) and;
-I cleaned out my Christmas/non-Christmas wrapping supplies and oil/vinegar/cooking oils cupboard today.

  • I don't make resolutions. I'd rather fix things as I can and am willing to. I hope you all can stick to yours!

    Anniversary

  • Mine are very similar to yours @nfp147.

I want to lose weight (drink more water, eat healthier, and be really active).

We definitely need to start hardcore saving money, and we want to pay off both our cars and DH's student loan.

I want to stop saving crap I/we don't and won't ever use. Packing up our house to move has taught me how much junk we keep around, and it is unreal.

I want to enjoy life in the moment and slow down on planning our lives for 1-10 years from now.

I have no idea how these are going yet, except the third one. It is going decently well considering that we threw out three bags of trash yesterday, and I have away a lot of my scrubs (that were still in really good or new condition) to my coworkers.

  • BMI BMI BMI.... Unfortunately I have to focus on the scale but it's more just getting back on track not starting over which is a change from years past.

Clean out my Facebook (sounds really stupid but so are some of the people I'm 'friends' with and its been causing un-necessary stress

Get into a cleaning routine and de-clutter this house

Be present and take care of myself more... And DH

Getting fit for IVF! :) (add another 20lbs and you have my total weight lost! :) )

  • Partial XP from 3T check-in...

"I have 3... 1) Read more; 2) More consistency with regular exercise and clean eating; 3) Have more sex."

So far, I have not done any of the above... Off to a great start already! :)) My plan is actually to start on #1 and 2 tomorrow. #3 will have to wait until the weekend! because I'm traveling for work M-F all January. Booooo...
