So I picked up an e-book and started reading it. It was a book that I had been looking forward to reading for a while. I started it and thought "Well, this doesn't seem anything like the Goodreads description". I continued reading. And can I say that I thought I was reading a YA novel but there seemed to be a lot of talk about drugs and some very descriptive sex. I was a bit shocked that this book could be one of the best YA books of the year and get away with some of the adult situations.
Finally, I finished the book this morning and when I got to the end of the book where they have a conversation with the author I noticed that the author's name was totally different than the one I thought it was. So when I went to goodreads to log the book as read, I realized that I was reading a TOTALLY different book than I had thought I was reading.

I guess the similar covers and names were to much for my easily confused brain to process.
What a great start to the new reading year I am off to. I just can't believe it took me the entire book to realize that I am an idiot.
