A late Mommy & M2B Monday!

I hope I'm not stepping on any toes here, but I always look forward to reading/posting in here and noticed it wasn't up yet for today. So here goes:

For Mommies-to-be:

How many weeks are you?

When is your EDD?

Have you / will you found out the sex?

Any names picked out?

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes?

Anything else you would like to add or PIP?

Already Mommies:

LOs Age(s):

Best part of your week?

Worst part of your week?

Milestones?

PIP those kiddos!

  • @simsk3887 I craved ice throughout my last pregnancy (among other things...). It could mean low iron (which is what happened to me). Make sure you tell your doctor about it.

  • @smbenevides1989‌ - When I mentioned it at my last appt, my OB said and I quote, "You have to do what you have to do". I'm planning to bring it up today again because I knew about the anemia possibility. I've also heard the itchiness and restless legs could be symptoms of iron deficiency as well so I want to make sure they check it. Thanks for the advice!
  • @aggiebug‌ - Pants seem to be the issue in this house too! I found a couple pairs at the Old Navy outlet over the weekend for $2/each and Target had some on clearance. I picked up a few of the same pairs, just in different sizes to help fill the void :)
  • @simsk3887 Don't worry about the weight. As much as I try to preach that to myself too haha. I've gained 35  lbs so far and I have 10 weeks to go. So I am probably looking at 45 lb weight gain in total. To me, that seems okay, to one of my doctors I have gained "too much."

I put on 8 lbs in 5 weeks so 7 lbs seems perfectly fine to me!

  • @Sewilson33‌ - Thanks for the encouragement. I've never been good with a scale so it makes me anxious to begin with. Sometimes I look in the mirror and think I'm just hiding a basketball under my shirt and other times I think I look heavy everywhere. Honestly, as long as he's healthy and everything goes well, I need to get over the number on the scale.
  • @simsk3887 HUGS!  I know how you feel. I really am not one who struggles with body image or where my weight is, but the last few weeks have been tough even for me.  You and I know both know that as long as the dr doesn't care and our baby is healthy then everything is fine, but it doesn't make it any easier to look at the scale!

@apollo11235  Love seeing that you've decided to be team green.  Yay!  Also, we need to get together before you move, since if I remember right we aren't too terribly far from one another.
Yes! We're a couple hours from Chicago, so we should do that. :)

I ate ice like it was going out of style and my iron was on the higher side. Just for another perspective.
