  • I'm on a non-fiction kick lately. I finished The Hot Zone (about Ebola...shaddup!), and it was pretty good. I'm reading Where Men Win Glory right now (about Pat Tillman) to prove a point at work, bahahaha.

I'm also reading Secret Thoughts of an Adoptive Mother and crying my eyes out. "My husband and I had talked about whether we would want kids, not whether we could have them. We talked about 'when' with the presumptuousness of two people planning a vacation." I seriously want to quote the whole first chapter here. It's so spot on for so many of my 3T loves.
Cried my eyes out just reading that sentence. I hope the book is helpful to you.

  • The Hot Zone is my sister's all-time favorite book. She has read it so many times.

I've also recently read Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand (about Louis Zamperini), The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert (did not enjoy it like I wanted to), and Breaking Night by Liz Murray (I loved this memoir).

"I DO NOT love that you think so many things revolve around you.  I know you're bitter.  I get it.  But I'm over your feelings." The best person on the internet ever!
  • @sewilson33 I really want to read Trafficked! I saw that you were reading it on goodreads and looked it up and it looks interesting.  my library doesn't have it so i'm saving amazon $1 credits from my prime purchases so that I can buy it.

I'm finally starting to read more again.

I just finished My Name is Memory. it was different than anything i've read in a while but I really liked it.

and i'm still working on getting through all the Harry Potter Books. just finished another one!
