Fever Series Questions NS

I thought that Iced, the last book Karen Marie Moning wrote about Dani, was a spin off series, but GR has it listed as part of the Fever series. So, which is it? I am confused whether or not Burned is going to be about Mac and all of the Fever series characters or if it's more focused on Dani like I thought Iced was supposed to be. I JUST WANT MORE BARRONS!

It's part of the series, but it focuses on Dani. I think Burned is also about Dani. I've heard mixed reviews on Iced, which is why I still haven't read it.

I guess I thought that the books about Dani would be a spin off/standalone series and if there was ever more books about Mac and Barrons I wouldn't need to read them. Now I am not excited for Burned to come out this month because I don't want to read Iced.

I remember having very strong feelings about Iced. I gave it 3 stars so I must not have hated it. I'm hoping I get over my hangs up about it, because I want to read more about Barrons!

It was originally going to be more focused on Dani, but she's moving back to a split focus - Barrons & Mac, and Dani as well.

Apparently there is a time progression, too, from ICED to Burned. Dani was 14 in ICED, and I think KMM said she's going to be 19 in Burned.

While Barrons is hot and sexy, I can't get into this series. I hate all the made up words and Dani is the most annoying character ever (besides Mac that is).

I think I would love the books if there were no Mac, Dani or Sinsar Dubh. Just make it all pages about Barrons in varying states of nakedness and then I could really get into the story.

I am still trying to finish book #4 (about 2 years after starting it).

I'm not a Dani fan either so I haven't read Iced yet. I thought Iced and Burned were supposed to focus on Dani and then there were going to be a couple of books after those that focused back on Mac and Barrons? Did that change? I am so glad to hear that Dani will be 19 in Burned though!

Iced bothered me because of Dani's age and because I don't want to be in Dani's head that much.

If I'm remembering correctly, originally KMM was going to have the initial 5 Fever books, 3 for Dani, and then 2 more that went back to Mac and Barrons. After Iced, she decided to combine the remaining 4 into 2 books. Burned, the next one, will go back to Mac and Barrons as well as Dani and others. I liked Iced more than I thought I would, but I want more Barrons!

From what I read, Burned is supposed to be more Mac/Barrons-centric. I read Iced and I can say there are only maybe two minor plot points that may come up as necessary background in Burned, and even that will probably be alluded to enough to make reading Iced a non-necessity. I wouldn't bother reading it. Iced that is.

I couldn't finish book #1. I normally love this stuff, and I can't pinpoint exactly why I DNF. I just wasn't into it for no discernible reason. Now that you mention the made up words, I think maybe that was part of it...

The ending of this book DESTROYED me.

I can't stand Dani and for that reason I haven't started Iced.

I tried starting ICED after being obsessed with all the Barrons/Mac books - and I put it down after the first chapter because she was too annoying.
