Calling all my grammar girls

My mom is planning my shower, but she asked me to help with the invitation.  I need y'all to double check my grammar please. :)

At the bottom, I'll be putting the registry info but I can't figure out which way it needs to be written, with or without the comma after Amazon:

A:

Registered at Target, Amazon, and Babies R Us

B:

  • THE OXFORD COMMA DEBATE, Y'ALL!

I prefer the oxford comma myself, for this reason:

So, I'd go with the first one :)  Either are technically fine to use, though.

I need to send this to my boss!!!!  She doesn't like the oxford coma and it drives me crazy.

Also this is why I like Math... rules are rules!

  • Above are right, either works. I prefer the comma as well though.

  • My vote is for all the commas.  I know someone that would probably want to put a comma after every word.  lol

  • I agree with all the commas.  I know it is correct both ways, but I think it looks better with commas.  Also, looking at @ramstein1027's GIF, it could totally change the meaning.

For what it's worth, when I teach writing lists, I have my students put commas in between each word, including before the and.
  • I always write the extra comma since it is correct. I think it looks weird without it.
