  • 1) Any New Year's Resolutions? Nope.  I don't like to great high expectations for myself.

2)Favorite song of 2014?  A song that actually came out in 2014?  I'd need to think about this.

    3) Favorite Movie in 2014?  I've been neglecting the movie theater lately, so I'll go with one of the award screeners I watched this weekend:  The Theory of Everything.

    4) What was the best thing that happened in 2014 (or your favorite memory)?  Europe!

    5) What are you looking forward to in 2015?  Hoping to go to New Orleans!

  • 1) Any New Year's Resolutions?  I make practical resolutions that I know I can stick to, such as I resolve to buy more shoes and spoil my cats.

2)Favorite song of 2014?  Oh god this is hard.  There were some really great songs (and a whole stinking lot of really bad songs) in 2014.  I can't pick just one.

    3) Favorite Movie in 2014?  I think the only movie I actually went to see in 2014 was 'If I Stay' which of course I loved but hated walking out of the theater with raccoon eyes due to my constant blubbering throughout  the movie.

    4) What was the best thing that happened in 2014 (or your favorite memory)?  Everyone in the family stayed healthy and out of the hospital this year!

    5) What are you looking forward to in 2015?  Just the simple things that make me happy, like finding the perfect shoes, discovering a great new song to obsess over, meeting random musicians with @MrsJenE, happy kitty snuggles, drinking wine in the gazebo while reading a good book on a warm summer day,  etc.
    90 books in 2015?

2)Favorite song of 2014? Skipping this one

    3) Favorite Movie in 2014? Mockingjay maybe?

2)Favorite song of 2014? Take Me To Church by Hozier. It's still popular, but it was released in 2014, so I'm counting it.

  • 1) Any New Year's Resolutions? More romance in our marriage.  February will be 5 years of marriage, and we've been ttc since we got married.  So, yeah, that sucks the romance out of a marriage I think.  More biking too.

2)Favorite song of 2014? I don't know of anything songs that came out in 2014.  I listen to Pandora mostly, and not in a terribly popular genre.  (metal genre, goth metal, power metal, going on a quest type metal!) I think the song I've enjoyed the most in 2014 was Emotional Skies by Falconer

    3) Favorite Movie in 2014? The only one I saw in the theater was Mockingjay

    4) What was the best thing that happened in 2014 (or your favorite memory)? The year as a whole wasn't great.  Two come to mind.  One was in Harpers Ferry on our anniversary where we took a hike.  Hey, that picture is in my siggy!  Another was the longest bike ride I had been on at that point, which was 26 miles.

    5) What are you looking forward to in 2015? Our C&O canal towpath bike trip in March.  And maaaaybe Hawaii again.
