  • I've started using my FitBit again! I've made sure to help my step goal every day for the past 3 days. On Monday that meant that I walked laps around my house. The dogs thought I'd lost my mind! I'm combining this with using my fitness pal again and I'm back on track to start losing weight, I hope! H is on board, too.

  • I usually don't participate but I've started to work out again. Starting small will elliptical and yoga on Sun, and then elliptical on the mornings not walking the dog. It's seriously so hard to wake up earlier to work out than for the walk!

  • Have been trying to go to the gym this week. It's been a bit chaotic since a lot of people are joining as part of their new year's resolutions. H was whiny the other night because he has a favorite leg press machine and he couldn't use it because some tiny thing was sitting on it and texting instead of using it. Ugh.

    Only reason we didn't go tonight was weather related. They're calling for temps to hit somewhere around -20 after taking wind chill into consideration.

    I've been doing what I can.  I'm in total isolation at my house because A) It's freaking cold outside wind chills have been like -40 and B.) There is a terrible flu going around and I'm terrified to bring DS anywhere!  
    I tried to do push ups for the first time since before I got pregnant and that was laughable.  I should have recorded it because it was funny.  Of the 40lbs I gained while pregnant I have 16 to go to be back to prepregnancy weight.  And I want to lose an additional 5 after that to be back to my ideal weight.  
    It's been really hard to work out because DS has been cluster-feeding like a mad man this week.
