lately I've been thinking of growing my hair out because most days I feel very masculine having short hair. I'm such a champion for short hair though, so I feel like I'd be letting myself down if I grew it.

I have never liked my engagement ring. There are some design aspects of it I love, but overall, I don't like it.

I'm sorry you don't like it. H bought me a pair of earrings as a wedding gift that were very expensive and I'm really not that crazy about them. I had bought a cheap pair of earrings to wear for the wedding, that I like better, and ended up wearing the earrings he bought because I knew it would make him happy. He still doesn't know I don't really like them.

I confess that I have no clue how to use my office phone! I had to call someplace today and could not get it to dial out. I even tried dialing 9 first...that usually gets you an outside line at any place Ive ever worked. Finally, I gave up and used my cell phone!

Why can't new hire orientation actually cover useful stuff like phones and how to use the weird coffee maker thing in the kitchen?!

I'm nervous about the mullety growing out period. Plus, my hair is not that nice when it's long!

I saw a woman at target breastfeeding in the baby clothing section, I wish I was that brave. I just pack a just in case bottle of pumped beast milk which I didn't need since baby slept the whole time we were out. I'm also weirded out about feeding him in the car even tho my windows are tinted and no one could see.

I confess that I'm afraid to post my recent dieting success on FB for a couple of reasons. 1. I don't want people to think we're just doing this for the new year. H and I have planned to do this for a while and it isn't a new year's resolution, it's a lifestyle change we want to stick with. It just happened to start at new year's. 2. If I end up relapsing, I don't want to be disappointed in posting my success. I'm proud though! It's been a week, we've cut out a lot of carbs we would usually eat (not completely, but a HUGE decrease) and I've hit all of my FitBit goals for 5 days now and lost 3.5 pounds.

I confess to being really upset that my cousin is pregnant. It sounds terrible but their living situation is dire, the kids are improperly cared for and they have already asked my aunt (her mom) who is retired for financial help she cannot give. Her youngest is only 5 months old and the only reason they decided to have another is bcs they want a girl. Literally no other reason at all. To me, this is a horrible for of selfishness. There is also much more to the story that would take forever and a day to type out.

@xxjen015 Keep up the great work! Please post here about your progress, I know I would like to hear about it to cheer you on. Don't worry about regressing, worry about the steps you're taking now to improve. If you do have a regression, don't beat yourself up, you're human. Just think about the progress you made and work toward it again.

I confess that I almost told the secretary at my school off yesterday. Her desk is right next to the bathroom (gross, but the office is tiny). I was waiting and someone came out of the bathroom ans started talking to me. I tried to stop her, but you can't once she starts talking. I finally just walked into the bathroom and closed the door. When I was in there, the secretary started complaining about the talking. I came out and apologized and told her it was rude and wrong, and she just continued to complain. She could have said to us while we were talking that she couldn't hear on the phone and please don't talk in the office so she can do her job, but she didn't. I bit my tongue and walked out instead of saying what was really on my mind.

Additional confession- I didn't buy the secretaries/custodians/aides Christmas gifts this year because I couldn't afford it. I was planning to get stuff over vacation and it slipped my mind. I am always very generous with them, but this year it wasn't feasible. I don't feel bad at all.

I know it's Monday but I have another confession...I just found on on FB that my cousin is 3 months pregnant with her third child. I want to feel happy for hera (especially since this pregnancy is coming after a miscarriage last year), but all I feel is the overwhelming urge to cry now. I'm also hesitant to tell D because the other day he briefly mentioned that he has been feeling depressed about our lack of pregnancy.
