How was everyones first full week of the new year? Any plans for the weekend?
For us the week started with dh's grandma being taken to the hospital. She was having a hard time swallowing. They started her on chemo Wednesday and she went home yesterday. I think she will be getting chemo every week for at least a month. The doctor said she has an 80% chance of chemo and surgery being successful.
The week went by so fast even though dh went back to work. I have to get used to being alone with Abby until between 7&8 at night again. I wish he could get home earlier.
I finally stoped giving Abby milk overnight, cold turkey. It is going ok. She has 2 more canine teeth cutting through so I'm not sure if she's waking up because of the teeth or lack of milk.
I'm rambling... sorry. I could go on and on.
Re: Friday!
D's dad ended up in the hospital yesterday. They thought he had a stroke but now they are saying he had amnesia. I hope he's ok. It's hard to know when he never says what's really going on.
Lily has not been going to sleep until 10-10:30 all week. Today she took a 3 hour nap and I finally got her to sleep at 11:15. Seriously considering skipping naptime tomorrow to get her to bed earlier. (I'm not ready for naptime to be over!)
But I'm willing to try it today. She slept until 9:00 am. So if we skip naptime I'm hoping to have her in bed between 7-8.
Bedtime between 7 and 8 sounds wonderful. Good luck!
