Re: WTF, Open Letters, Rants, Random Thoughts, etc Wednesday

  • Dear mom,

Please stop over feeding E.  There's no way she needed 19 oz yesterday.  She's jumped from 15 percentile to 75 (taken from my app) since you started watching her, and I can't keep up.  I know you want to start cereals, but please wait until E's apt next Friday so I can talk it over with my pedi.  This is not proving anything.  No, BF babies do not need more milk as they get older, my milk changes to fit their needs.  I'm adding more pumping sessions because you're burning through my freezer stash.  I hope you see my effort and SLOW THE F DOWN!

    love,

    Your burned out daughter

    ----------------

    Dear H,

Please text me if you're worried about us at night, not tap into the video monitor and scare the ever loving crap out of me by moving it to where i'm sitting!

    Love,

    Your now paranoid wife

    --------

    Boss,

F you to my evaluation.  How can you hold my ML against me!?  Sorry I didn't get my work done, I was busy training my replacement at 39 weeks!  I have to hold my tongue until I can go back to talk to you in a tactful manner other wise I would have F-you to your face.

    Sincerely,

    I think I need a new job

  • @mana8503 - I LOLed this morning when I saw your post about J moving the camera but I thought he did it from inside the house! Not at work! hahahahaha The other day I accidentally left a book that we had been reading in T's bed at nap time and it was one of those push a button books. He must have rolled over on it because all of a sudden I heard what sounded like a man talking in his room and I freaked out. I convinced H that someone was hacking into our camera and that he needed to call the cops. He went up and checked and was like "you're an idiot. You left the Bubble Guppy book in his bed. That was Mr. Grouper talking to you, not an internet stranger."

  • @court115 - Oh he was at work.  I usually text him when we get up, and it's been every 2 hours lately.  So at 330 he got worried.   Confession - I was too absorb in the TB drama that I forgot to text him.  I totally thought we got hacked!!!  I'm so glad I'm not the only one who's mind goes to that.  Good to know Hunter will bark at it if it's moving around!  If it got to our corner I was about to run lol

Mine too. I once went to triage for lack of movement when I was 3 weeks from my due date That was the longest car ride ever. Sending her t&p's.

  • @mana8503‌ I would kill DH if he did that. Its creepy enough knowing he will move it when I'm reading to her at night. And wow...19 oz?? How much in one feeding? M never took more then a 3.5 oz bottle. I was worried, but pedi said it was normal b/c of changes in milk. And have you been on the parenting board?? Shit is crazy over there!!

  • Random ranty vents: I'm so tired. My body is fighting something. I've had a headache off and on since Saturday and just feel "off". M woke up at 2:45 saying she had to pee. I didn't go back to sleep til after 4. One of the co-irkers had a complication to minor surgery so instead of being out for the rest of week, shes out at least next week too.

Thats why she initially went in. My BFF's wife went through the same thing as you Karen. Its better safe than sorry. Knowing how uncommon a late term loss is still doent make me feel any safer. It was a total fluke and nothing could have been done about it even if they knew.

Mom has been giving her 4 oz bottles, so usually 12 oz while I'm at work.  But I know Jeff said Monday they gave her 5 oz one feeding.  I was a few minutes late because a car broke down on 272 and mom was feeding her the last 2 oz I had in there.  I asked her today to do 3 oz.  E will eat until she throws it all up. I have the one BF baby that over eats.  I usually give her 10 mins, burp and I try to distract her.  If she's still fussy after a few minutes I'll give her more... but usually she's fine.  It's just fishy I told her no cereal until her apt and now E just won't be satisfied... not like a little bit of cereal will hold her over.

YES I've been reading the parenting board.  OMG now all their history has been deleted!!!

Is there ann extra creaminess or crunch to them?
  • AW- my nephew was finally born! After being induced on Sunday, he made his arrival at 3am on Tuesday. I'm so in love with his little face.

Wtf- I'm so burnt out from being at the hospital every night since Sunday, had to go to my grandparents last night after work, tonight is basketball, that I literally come home and go to sleep as soon as I walk in the door. Which means nothing has gotten done around the house that needs to be done.

Not really.  They're a little bit bigger, so there's more chocolate, which is always nice.  I detected a slight vanilla undertone after I ate my first one, but that quickly faded and did not happen again.  H said he tasted a "hint of icing," which I'm assuming is the vanilla I tasted.

I think a lot of people might be disappointed because most "birthday cake" flavored things are reminiscent of funfetti cakes whereas they were going with a chocolate cake with white icing spin with these.
