  I confess that it REALLY annoys me that D's parent's always want to pay for things for us.  I know I sound weird and ungrateful for turning down money but they make me feel like we can't afford anything.  I know they are trying to help but it really bothers me.  And when I tell D how I feel about it he just shrugs me off.  It makes me feel like his parent's think we can't take care of ourselves.  And that they still want to control his life like they did before we were married.

  I am beyond past due to get a pedi and my feet are terrible looking. I have avoided taking care of it myself because I really need time for myself since baby arrived. I am planning on going this weekend.

  @catwine my ils are the same way. I've been independent from my parents since I was 20, I feel like they treat us like children. It drives me insane.
