    Libraries always take purchase requests. It doesn't mean they'll buy it, but it couldn't hurt.

    Truth! I make purchase requests from my library all the time, right over the internet. It's super easy, and 90% of the time, they order the book.

    Good to know, thanks! There are a lot of books I want to read that my library doesn't carry so I will definitely be looking into that!
