If you haven't read it yet, I recommend you don't. Unless you want to be bored to death perhaps. Almost zero plot movement and no Jericho/Mac goodness (well, unless you haven't read the
JZB short scene that she previously released online but is now included in the beginning of the book - but that's it!). I wish I had stopped at Shadowfever. If that's where you stopped - keep it that way! Ha!

Very, very mild spoiler alert (because really, there is no plot to spoil!):
At one point a plot device was used to force the story line from the first person narrative to basically the third person narrative. It was like KMM wanted to describe a specific scene without getting into the heads of any of the characters actually involved in the scene (because she didn't want to flesh out their feelings or motives in the moment so the situation can be dragged out into a future book), so she made this ridiculous plot device up to try to skirt around the issue that there is no third person narratives in this series. It felt so contrived I was actually rolling my eyes.
There were so many ways this book could have gone. Any kind of added depth of character for Dancer who we know almost nothing about. Insight into basically any of Barron's mechanizations. First person insight into the Concubine. Actually fleshing out any of the remaining Unseelie Princes since we only got to know Cruce.
Instead it just seemed like one big setup for future books involving Dani, Kat, Jo, Christian and the other druids related to him, Ryodan, Lor, and Kasteo. But none of the setup was interesting enough to make me want to read a future book.
OH! And if you followed KMM, she sometimes posted spoilers ahead of the book release and one scene she spoiled was almost completely cut out of the book! WTF.
