The Girl on the Train- SPOILERS
I can not begin to explain how much I enjoyed this book. Even though the majority of the characters were unlikable, they were written so well! Rachel's alcoholism made me question ever drinking again. Well, maybe not that far but holy cow blackouts are scary.
Once I learned more about Anna,
@sfgiantsjo and I could have sworn she was the one responsible for Megan's disappearance in order to frame Rachel. This book had me changing theories left and right. Who would have thought that Tom was the real psychopath?!!?
My mind is still wrapping itself through every detail in this book. I love how Hawkins threw out a random piece of info during the early stages of the book (ie the clothes by the track) and it had me thinking about them and their significance throughout the whole story.
IMO, this book is way more messed up than Gone Girl but in a good way
Re: The Girl on the Train- SPOILERS
Also - they killed Tom with a CORKSCREW. Ew. I kinda loved that he didn't die quickly and that he knew exactly what was happening to him. And also that Anna was like, here, let make sure you are dead-dead.
I really enjoyed this book. I didn't want to put it down!
