QOTD 1/29

Do you have a shower curtain or doors in your bathroom?  Which do you prefer?

Re: QOTD 1/29

  • Doors - it's a stand-alone shower, separate tub.  It's the first time having one, it's ok.  I don't have a big preference.  Door is easier to clean.  I keep a dish scrub brush you can fill with detergent, do half dish detergent, half vinegar - it's magically.  I scrub the door, walls etc once a week while I'm in the shower.

  • Right now, we have a shower curtain in both bathrooms that we use.  At our new house, our shower will be a walk through with no doors and all the other showers will have doors.  I don't really like the way shower curtains look, but I also hate cleaning glass shower doors, so it's kinda even for me on which I prefer.

  • We have curtains which are pretty but if I had a house I'd like a glass door.

  • We have 3 showers, they all have curtains. Two of them are stand alone showers and I want doors so bad, water gets all over and i told H that is our next project for the house.

  • We used to have glass doors on the tub/shower upstairs but I ripped those off as soon we closed on the house. They were so ugly! We currently have a nice curtain instead.  The basement shower is a single stall with a door.

  • The shower in the master bath (pretty much the only one that's gets regular use) has glass doors. I HATE it! They are so hard to clean. I'd much prefer a curtain that I can just take down and throw in the wash.

  • We have curtains in both of our bathrooms.  I do like doors but with hard water they are sometimes really hard to keep clean.  At least with the curtains, you can just throw out the liner and get a new one.

  • We have an old tub/shower combo with doors. I hate them. But they'll do until we can redo the bathroom eventually. I prefer curtains because I like to change it up!

  • Curtains. They are currently blue polka dots. Not sure on preference since I've only ever had curtains.

  • Curtains in the two that have showers. I would be fine either way.

  • Curtains. I hate cleaning glass doors. Also I feel very caged when I shower with a door. To be honest I would prefer neither. I really like walk through showers like @mrshall1027 mentioned.
