  I'm more than a little disturbed that a HS friend of mine is about to be a grandmother and she is ecstatic about that fact. She's 38.

  My grandmother became a first time grandmother at the age of 43.  She is now 89 and has seven great-grandchildren (the oldest of her great-grandchildren is 15).

  Even though I'm staring down the barrel of 40 this year, that doesn't seem so odd to me. My granny was 40 when I was born. 38 just seems so YOUNG in this day and age.

  My sister and I just bought most of our summer concert series worth of tickets all at once.  14 concerts (so far). We go to A LOT of concerts.

  I miss concerts so much.  I loved them in my early twenties, but most of my friends don't care for my style in music now, and J isn't in to concerts.  I went to one about 7 years ago (how sad is it that it was my last one!) and I LOVED it so much.

  We are a little ridiculous, and go to so many shows! In our old age, we are more picky, and need to buy good seats for everything!
