AW:Taxes and a job free summer!

This year because of SL interest and paying for two semesters of school in cash we got just over 3k back in taxes! We put it all into our "New to Us Car Fund" and we officially have $5,750! The goal was to get $7.500 by May and then save another semester in cash over the summer.

Now we will able to save the money for both before my job ends in June!  I wont work my regular summer job this year and we will have a fun summer together since it will hopefully be our last child free summer! We made a summer bucket list. I will probbly still work at my moms business every other week but it is nice knowing its not necessary to our budget.

Hooray for a summer off with all my teacher friends!

Nothing major! We want it to be cheap(ish)

    One trip:
    Visit my Massachusetts family
    Visit Salem Mass
    Boston aquarium
    Boston museum or art
    Boston museum of science

    Hike mount tumbledown

    Start geocaching

Visit the top 20 restaurants in Maine.

    Learn to skate backwards(me)

Have a sleepover party for my flower girls(they still want to be called that. Haha)

    Conceive a baby!

If we get overzealous we might do the route 1 tour from Maine to Florida. That would be expensive though.

    This is just our start!

Such fun stuff! The Aquarium is my favorite. So cool. We also went to Hugo's in Portland on our honeymoon and though pricy, it was so, so worth it. If you do the wine pairings, prepare to be tipsy!

I know it's a summer bucket list, but Hugo's does sometimes have winter discounts. Oh man, so good. We think about going back all the time but will probably reserve it for major anniversaries.

It's a surprise! My aunts gave me the okay to take them to my house which is over an hour from their homes so I will have them for a solid 24 hours. I am trying to come up with ideas to keep them happy and busy to avoid the whole homesick thing. I also have to come up with an amazing invite to send to them in May.

The vibe is very hipster. I just wore my RD dress, which is on the nicer end of the "sundress" category. H wore khakis and a nicer linen shirt.
