Re: This weekend
I am now procrastinating getting ready for work. I really need to clean up my house a little bit before the super bowl. My dad, stepmom, brother and his gf are coming over. I hope the Seahawks win, most of you know Dh being from Seattle makes him a huge fan. I made Hawaiian sandwiches, brownies, deviled eggs so far. I still need to put together the guacamole and wings. Should be yummy. Although at this point heart burn is my worst nightmare and yet my everyday friend.
We are getting hit with another snowstorm right now. They are estimating 7-11 inches by tomorrow morning.
We will be streaming the game through the internet browser on T's Xbox One. I think it's awesome that NBC is doing that for free this year, since we don't have cable.
ps. your super bowl food sounds amazing.
01.21.2012---> I married a redhead I'm crazy about.
04.2016: IT'S A BOY! Elias Alan is due!
WDW trips: 05/14 (1st trip! Art of Animation; Little Mermaid), 05/15 (Pop Century!). DL Trips: 12/15
We are staying in just the three of us. I bought chips and salsa to go with our tacos. Of course now I'm wishing I had 7 layer dip and/or queso. Or all of Aleigha's food. Ha ha.
Just cleaning, laundry, errands, ect. We played in the snow for a little bit today. Built a small snowman. Lily has been a little stuffy the last two days so I didn't want to keep her outside too long. Trying to do our taxes but apparently congress is still working on the tax laws for selling a house last year, so we have to wait on them to finish before we can file. At least that is what HR Block online is telling us. Otherwise, our taxes are done.
We went to a birthday party for our friends son who turned 1. DH and I played beach hockey with pool noodles and a beach ball in our living room to tire Abby out. She just watched us tire ourselves out. Now I'm putting Abby to bed. No super bowl for us here. We're not into football or any sports really.
I was sick most of the weekend so we didn't do much. I am now spraying Lysol around the house like mad. I've been sick twice in 1 month and that is more than enough for me!
We have our tax apt on the 16th but I'm really not looking forward to it. I think we may owe a small amount but we shall see what miracle our tax person does!
I am hoping we get our spring cleaning done this month. My mom had decided that she will permanently stay with us, so she feels ready to get rid of most of her stuff in the garage. Then we need to make the loft a pseudo bedroom until we can afford to have drywall installed to make it a legit bedroom.
It's going to be a busy few months around here!
