Testing plans: trying really hard not to test this week! I keep thinking that a BFP would be a great bday present for D who's bday is on Friday. But a BFP would also be a great Valentine's gift, so I'm trying to hold out another week.

Chart stalks/rants/Thoughts: After much thought I decided against temping and charting. While I know it's a great practice for most people , it just isn't right for me.

I'm strangely at peace knowing that we have been at this for almost a full year. I thought I'd be more upset but I'm not. I am trying to look at the positives, such as more time to grow my photography business.

@WillyH19‌ - I like the picture but not the struggle. Still not sleeping well? We went back to 4 times a night. I almost ran off the road coming into work.

Mommies:

How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? 4.5 months, I lost count of weeks.

How do you feel? Tired. See above. Scares the Crap outta me. Usually H is driving too so we talk, but he was asleep.

Any Milestones this week? She's either roaring like a dinosaur or blowing raspberries. Still no rolling.

This is how H gets her to sleep... Then we have to sit on the ottoman until she wakes up...

Mommies:

How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? 6 months on Sunday. It seems like O was just born!

How do you feel? I'm feeling good. We had a snow day yesterday so I got an extra day with O. Today is a delayed start. Since H took off yesterday, he couldn't go in late today. My boss told me to come in as soon as the babysitter gets here. She also has a child in school (not mine) so his start time is the same as mine. Lounging with O for the next hour and a half or so

Any Milestones this week? Making tons of noises, trying as hard as possible to push out 2 teeth, looks, especially while sleeping, like she is trying to crawl, sitting up for short periods of time.

Rants/Thoughts/Baby pics? When O was born, the pediatrician told us to get a digital rectal thermometer because they are more accurate on infants. We bought one the day we got out of the hospital. The batteries are dying. There is only one button on the thing. Trying to get it to work the other day, I changed the unit from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Then the batteries completely died. I bought new batteries, only to find out there are different sizes of the same voltage. And there is nothing in the directions on changing the unit. I really am a talented individual.

Rants/Thoughts/Bump pics? NT scan is Friday. DH is being great at upping my mood because I'm so scared/nervous. He just keeps saying "Be excited!! We're going to see Rudy!!"

@mana8503 - this might get long and whiny so I apologize if it does...

We just can't seem to catch a break right now. J's eczema is just awful. It is all over his back, chest, going up his neck, down his arms and to his cheeks. We have been on steroid creams for a week now with some improvement, but nothing huge. I have decided to eliminate eggs from our diets. His rash was a bit better until Sunday afternoon when it came back with force on his chest and down his arms. I had eggs for breakfast that morning. I don't think this was a coincidence.

He cut a tooth during this whole mess, and has 3 more coming in at the same time.

He is now on day 11 of a stomach bug (according to the peds office) and has been on the BRAT diet for most of those days. It seems to be doing nothing. So we switched him back to his normal diet.

He also has a cold. He can't lay flat or he coughs and coughs and coughs. He also has a stuffy nose, so eating, particularly nursing is very difficult, because is is lying down. So, he can't breath and thinks that biting me will help him nurse better. Not cool.

He was nursing on Saturday and decided to bite down pretty hard, I yelped and unlatched him and told him no biting and put him down on the floor. Well, he decided that he didn't want to nurse anymore for the rest of the day. So, I had to pump and feed him bottles all day. While H was gone at work until 9 that night.

Also, after months and months of nursing with no problems, when I got my period back, my body decided it would be funny to give me cracked nipples. So not cool, stupid hormones.

So, I'm struggling.

Pregnant Girls:

How many weeks: 27w1d

How are you feeling? I'm really struggling with my emotions. I feel drained and my patience is out the door. I have no desire to do anything and I'm pretty sure I'm getting depressed again. I'm having a really hard time with my body image and I don't even want anyone to see me. I'm only doing bump pics because I know I'll regret not doing them, but I hate the way I look in every one. I'm pissed at H because he's been playing his video game a lot more lately and I'm falling asleep more and more often by myself. The kids are driving me crazy and I have to keep my distance or I catch myself getting too aggravated and I don't want to yell at them for just being kids. I need to talk to my doctor and see if there's anything I can do because this is probably the worst it's ever been. I stayed home from work and laid in bed all day yesterday. I could have done the same today, but the kids are out of school and at home and I just can't deal with them all day.

Rants/Thoughts/Bump pics? Hopefully I can get myself to do a bump pic tonight.

@mrshall1027 the end is super hard. I remember crying one night on the computer googling stretch mark removal laser treatments. It's hard to watch your body change like that.

How do you feel? I'm staying positive but I'm having a lot of symptoms that my auto immune is no longer in remission. It's hard to get upset about it when I get to spend all day with the cutest little blue eyes looking at me.

Any Milestones this week? Nothing new this week.

Rants/Thoughts/Baby pics? most of my pictures are on my phone and for some reason tn won't let me load pictures from my phone. We have lots of baby goats coming this weekend and I will need to take pictures of Alex with his fluffy little friends. I'll be sure to share those.

I didn't buy the wonder weeks app, but does anyone know if 8 weeks is a leap week? If it isn't I should probably call an exorcist. I can't put him down today or he loses it.

Mommies:

How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? 6 weeks

How do you feel? tired, he has decided he doesnt want to sleep unless he is being held again. I hope its just a phase because last night we started at 8pm after his feeding to go to sleep and he didnt finally fall asleep for longer than 5 mins in his swing at 2:30am. After all that he did sleep 4 hours before his next feeding and I was able to put him down for another 4 hours in his crib afterwards but it was still a rough night.

Any Milestones this week? lots of smiles, showing interest in toys, can lift his head for short periods, he loves the ceiling fan and its not even on

Rants/Thoughts/Baby pics? Our rocking chair died. Its one sit away from collapsing. It is as old as me so I guess its time, I was hoping it would last forever. So now I am trying to find one fast since we use it to help Eli get to sleep at night when he is fussy. For the past week he has regressed to having to sleep on us or he wont sleep. Last night was the worst though.He fell asleep after his feeding on me, I waited 15 mins to make sure he was out and then moved him to his crib (which typically works). I went to refill my cup of water and then go to the bedroom (at most 5 mins) before he starts to cry. I try to wait it out and he just gets louder and doesnt stop so I check on him, get him quiet and starting to drift off so I leave and then I have to start the whole process again for the next 5 hours...

@mrshall1027 i felt the same exact way, i've always struggled with my weight and gaining 60 pounds during pregnancy I hated every minute, i never took bump pics bc i looked like a cow, a part of me now regrets it

@willyh19 so sorry you are going through all that, sending you lots of hugs! DD had exzcema and its the worst, all she did was scratch at herself until she bled, she has finally gotten better b/t medications, soap/detergent changes and keeping her moisturized non stop

@MrsHall1027 You look absolutely STUNNING! I know it can be hard to change your own mindset, but you look so good. I think talking to your doctor is definitely good idea since you aren't feeling/acting like yourself.

@mpjf1001 *hugs* it'll happen when it's meant to! and you're beautiful as well! Never forget that. P.S. I loved that pic you posted of Lilliana from the snow day of her cheesin. Such a cutie!

@mrshall1027 I am sorry you're feeling that way. You look fantastic and have not gained that much weight. I know how you feel, I never liked my bump pictures. I would have H retake them like 10 times. H's grandparents celebrated their 60th anniversary while I was pregnant. His aunt came for the party from another state and just wanted a picture of me. I felt horribly fat that day, plus it was like 95 degrees and I was miserable. I refused to take a picture and was snapping at anyone who tried. No one understood how I felt that day. It will get better! Definitely talk to your doctor. I know how you feel with your step daughters too. I had plenty of days that I just blocked out my class and let them be because I couldn't take them anymore. You are normal! Talk to your doctor though. They may have some coping suggestions.

@islandmonkey8 Your H is wonderful! I can't wait for Friday for you so you can see your baby

@mpjf1001 dealing with a miscarriage is so difficult. My niece was born on my due date. It was a rough day and I was pregnant with O. Until O arrived, every time I saw my niece, I thought, "My baby should be doing that also." I still think that way on occasion and the girls are only 6 months apart. It will get easier, but I can't tell you those feelings will go away.

@WillyH19 I have had severe eczema my entire life. I remember times when the back of my neck at my hair line looked like someone cut me with razors. It is so frustrating. There are times now where I cry because it hurts so bad. I can only imagine how your baby feels. Try cutting out eggs, hopefully that will help. I don't use anything with a scent, ever. If you need lotion or soap recommendations, I've tried most of them. You can always vent/talk to me.

I'm definitely going to talk to my doctor. I'm especially worried about after the baby comes and feeling even worse, so if there's anything I can do to help prevent that, I want to know now.

I'm trying to not slip into it this time by staying busy and I even made the effort to dress a little nicer today. I still feel crappy, but hopefully it'll get better if I keep that up.

How do you feel? Pretty good. DD decided that she wanted to wake up for an hour & @ half in the middle of the night & poor DH stayed up to help me with her even though he had to be up a few hours later. She finally went back to sleep & I had to wake her to get her ready for "school" this morning, but ugh!

Any Milestones this week? She's been scooting herself backwards for a little while now. It looks like she'll probably be trying to crawl soon.

My AW update is that I'm set to O tomorrow probably based on OPKs and that DH is on board with treatment next cycle!! I think his friend who was due just before us having their baby and us almost reaching our EDD has pushed him into being ready to do anything it takes. Im excited and nervous. Being just over 2 weeks away from that makes it real.
