    Goals? Feel better, look better.

How has your progress been this week? Awesome!  I lost 7 pounds my first week on Weight Watchers.  I know this is not going to happen every week, but it's a good start.  And, it was relatively painless.

What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)? Weight Watchers online; I need to be more active.

Best part of your week? DH and I got tattoos last night!

Worst part of your week? Nothing really stands out.

QOTW: I know we've done this one before, but what's your favorite healthy snack(s) on-the-go? Cheese sticks

  • Goals?

Lose about 15 lbs, fit better into clothes.

How has your progress been this week?

Much better this week. I've been getting up at 430AM, so I can make it to the gym consistently.

What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)?

Clean eating, gym 4 days per week (weight training/cardio), sand volleyball Friday nights.

    Best part of your week?

DH and I have been having some major conflict with my bro after some obnoxious text messages that were sent last month. We all finally seem to have addressed this and are moving forward. I finally think he "gets it".

Worst part of your week? I have a stye/hordoleum on my inner upper right eyelid that has been bothering me the past couple of days (hurts and super annoying). I haven't been the best about the warm moist compresses though, so I'm going to try to do that at least once a night until this thing goes away!

QOTW: I love cheese sticks, too! I also will do a piece of fruit (usually gala apple), raw almonds, PB Clif Bar.

@nfp147 - AWESOME job with Weight Watchers so far!

  • Goals? Lose about 50 lbs, feel and look better.

How has your progress been this week? Not good at all.

What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)? Clean eating.  MFP, more water intake.  Cook more at home to avoid going out to eat

Best part of your week? I am off today.  I requested today off last month just because, and I am so glad I did!

Worst part of your week?  I had a little accident couple days ago, looks like both doors on my passenger side have to get replaced.

QOTW: I know we've done this one before, but what's your favorite healthy snack(s) on-the-go? Cheese sticks, fruit, usually I grab an apple or a banana.

  • I'm going to join you ladies if you don't mind!

    Goals?

I'm going to start with 20 pounds and then go from there

How has your progress been this week?

Today is Day 1.  I did order a rowing machine though!  I love rowing so I hope having one in the house will encourage me to be more active.

What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)?

I have a brand spankin' new PCOS diagnosis so I'm still trying to figure out what that means.  I'm going to start with just making an effort to eat better and count calories and then go from there.  I'm not sure yet if I am insulin resistant, so that will make a difference in the plan if I am.

    Best part of your week?

This is not diet related, but I got a thank you note and gift from a client this week that meant a lot to me.  I've been stressed at work and feel like I can't do anything right and that was exactly what I needed to get some confidence back.

Worst part of your week? The PCOS diagnosis was it for me.  I know it isn't the end of the world, but I was still hoping that there was nothing wrong.

QOTW: I know we've done this one before, but what's your favorite healthy snack(s) on-the-go?  I really like nuts so I would do baggies of nuts (serving size of course).

    Goals?

Lose 100-125lbs in no set time

How has your progress been this week?

Meh. I haven't been taking my metformin, and I have been eating whatever I want, but I feel skinnier today for some reason

What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)?

Take Metformin, be more active/exercise more, drink more water and less Coke, eat low carb/low glycemic index (I have PCOS).

    Best part of your week?

Having dinner with all of our friends multiple times

Worst part of your week? We are seeing our friends so much because we are moving from GA to OH in 6 days (insert hyperventilation here!). I'm nervous about moving!

QOTW: I know we've done this one before, but what's your favorite healthy snack(s) on-the-go? I like raw, unsalted cashews. I also like oranges, grapes, and a small amount of bananas or apples. I'm not a big snacker though. I try not to eat between meals.

ETA: welcome @AprilZ81‌! Did you post about PCOS on "the other place"?

ETA2: Congrats @nfp147‌ on your weight loss!

ETA3: hats off to you FMW...I don't think I could get up at 4:30 everyday to workout. That is awesome!

@HoneyBee973 - Sorry to hear about your accident. Sounds like you're okay though?

@AprilZ81 - Welcome. Your new rowing machine sounds fun! I wanted to try that out at my old gym, but I did not want to look like a moron or hurt my back. It doesn't look like my new gym has one. Def looks like a great work-out if you use good form though!

@GABride2010 - Thanks for the kudos! GL with your upcoming move. Eeek! Hope everything goes smoothly for you guys!

  • @futuremrswright2012  It is an "easy" motion and it is a full body workout without being high impact.  It works your arms, shoulders, back, core and legs at various points of the motion.  To keep my mind engaged I would switch my grip from overhand to underhand every few minutes.  It had the added benefit of working both my triceps and my biceps.

  • Thanks @FutureMrsWright2012‌ and @AprilZ81‌! The move went better than I expected. April, I'm not officially on the dark side. I lurk there, but I have never done an intro.
