Just when I thought I was going to be around more here things got crazy.
Friday of last week I got a call that my Grandma was in the hospital and the doctors thought she had a heart attack.  She went in to have her bladder scraped for cancer cells (she has this done once every three months.)  They decided to keep her overnight after the procedure which is good because if they had not she would have died.  This small heart attack made them look closer at her heart and based on the valve damage they told us that she has weeks, to a month to live.  She was just released this week on hospice and is back at home.  The farm is half on her property.  My dad's parents sold my parents a chunk of their land, which is where they built the house I grew up on.  So I grew up living right next door to my grandparents.  I'm taking this pretty hard because I saw her practically everyday of my childhood.  My sister has her induction date set for St. Patty's Day and Gma has already told us that she wants to live long enough to meet the little leprechaun.
While dealing with this news, DH gets news that his Great Grandma passed away at 107 years old.  She was 2 months shy of her 108th birthday.  I will say I've never been to a funeral of someone that lived that many years.  It was very different, everyone really celebrated her longevity. We also got the news that DH's grandpa's cancer is getting worse and his doctor said he has 2 weeks - 2 months to live.  DH has never lost anyone.  He's handling all of this with a thick layer of denial.  He really idolizes this grandpa, so I'm sure when the reality hits him he's going to fall apart.
On the drive up to his great grandma's funeral his mother informs us that his uncle has a brain tumor.  They don't know much about it yet.  We are hoping it's nothing.
I also just had some testing done and it appears my auto immune is no longer in remission.  They are doing more tests, but I already know it's back.  I'm trying so hard to stay positive about it but it really sucks.  I don't even know what meds I can take while breastfeeding.  I might have to wait to start medication until Alex is no longer breastfeeding.
So if you can send some positive vgbes this way it will be truly appreciated.  My brother is flying up from Alabama next week which will be really awesome.  His daughter is a year and a half and is super adorable.  I can't wait to see her, my brother and his wife.
Love all of you ladies and I hope to be around as much as possible.  If I'm a ghost just don't forget about me!  Ok baby is fussing, later.
