  I'm thankful for church! I went last night for Ash Wednesday after not going for a while and it felt awesome, it was great to be back.  I love our parish, and our priest (who married us) always greets me with a big "How are we doing today, Counselor??" which cracks me up.

  I'm thankful that we've gotten most of this week off. I know you northerners laugh at us, but our buses don't start under 15 degrees and when they do, half break down on their routes and since we're not used to this weather, a lot of parents don't buy their kids actual coats. If we went, we'd have kids on a broken down bus wearing just a hoodie. Crazy.

  
  

  I'm thankful that my hard work has been paying off. Yesterday, at the gym, I was doing the circuit and using one of the arm machines, and I started seeing a muscle I've never seen developed before!! I'm excited and proud.

  I am thankful for my new slow cooker.  I ended up buying a new one with money from scratch offs I got for Christmas.  I used it yesterday to make stew.  Yummy!!

  I am thankful for the flylady website. I know some people think she's crazy, but it's helping me get a handle on house chores. I can do 15 mins/day and having a set mission is awesome. I haven't cleaned the master bathroom in forever, and that was the mission this week. Now, I smile whenever I go in it! I hope to get the rest of the house done, one room at a time.

  I'm thankful that my office celebrates Chinese New Year. They just passed out red envelopes and mine had $5 inside! Others only got envelopes with $1, so I made a lucky pick! It's the little things in life.

  I am thankful for all the help my mom has given me this week.  She watched O last Saturday so H and I could go out for Valentine's Day and Wednesday so I could go to the doctor.  Yesterday, she went with my to O's doctor appointment because it was midday, so H couldn't leave work.  She also did most of our laundry and brought it back to our house, since we still don't have a washer and drier.

  Our pastor always greets us warmly, too. Our names are the same as his son and daughter-in-law, so he seems to get a kick out of that!!
  
  Im a day late, but I'm thankful that D is open to spending time with some of the men at our church.
