I've only booked once, but we had a good experience booking through VRBO.  I am using it again researching for some upcoming trips, so I'll use it again soob.

Ditto this. DH and I just booked our honeymoon condro on VRBO. We heard lots of good feedback from his coworkers. It's also nice because people who have stayed at the property can review them, which we found super helpful for selecting our vacation condo.

I just found a great deal on Air Bnb, and would highly recommend it!
