Have you bought/received anything for baby yet? Shower was Saturday and it was amazing. We had a blast and we received so many nice things!

When is your EDD? 05/04
How are you feeling? Physically, pretty good. I think I'm starting to get BH contractions. They don't hurt, but everything will just get really tight for a 30-60 seconds a few times a day. Also having some period like cramping. Emotionally, I'm starting to get more stressed out. See rant at the end.
What are you craving? Nothing.
What is grossing you out? Nothing.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Nope. Baby shower is this weekend, so we've been holding off on purchases until after that.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Appt next Wednesday.

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? We're trying to find a glider. I found one I liked, but they estimated it taking 8-12 weeks to arrive, so we passed. There's one on wayfair.com, but it's out of stock until the beginning of April and I'm not sure how long it would take for shipping.
Anything else you would like to add or PIP? Rant - so, my mom was completely adamant about me helping her with our baby shower. I have two friends that offered to help and she declined it because she insisted she wanted it to be a surprise for everyone. My family grew up in poverty in Juarez, Mexico so they never had a typical American baby shower and don't really know how it's done. I tried to explain that I'm not supposed to be involved politely, but she wouldn't take no for an answer. And I know how my mom is, so I just went along with it because there was no use in arguing about it. I put my foot down when it came to setting up for the shower though. I told her I just wanted to be able show up and enjoy the day, which she agreed with. Well, the shower is this weekend and my mom threw her back out this morning, which really sucks for her and I feel bad that she's in pain, but guess who's going to be stuck setting up since she has all this decor that will take the majority of the weeknights to get up this week. H said he'll do it all with me so I won't have to do much, but it's still stressing me out.

How many weeks are you? 38 weeks 3 days! Home stretch!!
When is your EDD? March 14th but I'm reallllly hoping the full moon helps move her along a little early.
How are you feeling? Exhausted, huge, sore, crampy, swollen, I can go on!!! If she decides to wait until her due date poor DH is going to have a miserable wife for the next 2 weeks.
What are you craving? Sugar still, strawberries, waffles. Basically anything not good for you, I want it.
What is grossing you out? Certain types of chicken or eggs.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Not this week. We have so many baby clothes now I'm overwhelmed.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Last Friday my OB said I was 2 cm and 60% effaced at the beginning of 38 weeks. I go back this Friday for a check again. I'm hoping for some more progress.

DH kicked ass this weekend and finished our living room/kitchen(see pic below)
The wall used to be partially brick and two separate rooms. Now it is one cohesive room.
Rant:
I'm really done being pregnant. I feel terrible saying it but I'm not liking the last month. Everything hurts, the anticipation is excruciating, I'm huge. I really have no desire to see people, do chores, relax, snuggle, or get dressed anymore. And I REALLY want a glass of wine or 5....

How many weeks are you? 25 weeks
When is your EDD? June 15th, 2015
How are you feeling? Very tired! I wish I could take a nap right now at my desk.
What are you craving? Sushi!
What is grossing you out? Nothing really.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Nope, but we are supposed to be picking up a whole bunch of clothes from DH's cousin soon. They range from newborn to 3T.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Appointment tomorrow afternoon. I imagine I will be scheduling my second glucose test soon. I had to take one around 13/14 weeks because of my PCOS/insulin resistance. I'm hoping I pass this second one as well.

Any names picked out? I think we have settled on one but I'm not ready to commit to it yet.

How many weeks are you? 37+2
When is your EDD? March 21
How are you feeling? Large but overall, I'm doing ok. I've got in my mind that he's not coming until the 31st and it seems to be helping me relax about the whole thing. Do I have aches and pains, sure. Am I tired, sure. But there's nothing I can do about it.
What are you craving? Ice. And God knows what else. Spent $50 at the grocery store yesterday on junk food because I didn't know what I wanted to which DH just picked up anything I looked at.
What is grossing you out? Meats and my dog who has decided to lick everything. Baby stuff has all been licked, walls, and even the bathroom floor.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Finished our registry at the end of last week so the deliveries have started. And starting to try to think of anything we have forgotten.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Regular appt today. My BP was a little high but I'll cover that below....And we ate Olive Garden for lunch right before, plus the grocery trip above, and I gained a little too much weight, but at this point, I'm done worrying about my weight.

**I know parts of this are irrational and in the big picture don't matter, so I'll preface the story with that.**
Some of you know that I was to have my maternity shoot yesterday. Well the weather was beyond crappy with a really wet snow/rain all day so we rescheduled for next weekend. My cousin is doing the pictures for me and she's amazing and we had a great plan.
Today, she blew an aneurysm in her brain. She is currently in life-saving surgery. She was still conscious when they life-flighted her so I'm thinking her prognosis should be good, but of course things can go wrong.
I know it's completely irrational, but I will only be pregnant with my first son, my first rainbow baby once. I want something to commemorate this with. DH thinks I'm being completely and utterly insane by trying to come up with back up plans and having thoughts like, do we still plan the same locations/styles with a new photographer? Do I wait a week and see how she is and chance the baby coming early? Do I just have my sister or mom snap a few shots here and there? I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO! And I feel so selfish even thinking about it all, when honestly she could have died today. Ugh! Is there any true etiquette here? Please help! And T&P would be GREATLY appreciated as well. This family has gone through so much in the past few years with my aunt who has been on her death bed many times with multiple unknown illnesses, and my uncle who was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in September and given 2 weeks. He is doing ok and has made it way past the 2 weeks, but obviously the family is still very fragile. Thanks in advance, ladies.

How are you feeling? Pretty good. A little crampy at times, but overall so much better.
What are you craving? Sweets!
What is grossing you out? Still strong smells and raw meat
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Mil sent a blanket that doesn't match the nursery colors or theme at all and booties.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Next appt Wednesday. Then next month, we will start monthly ultrasounds until 32 weeks, and then move onto weekly ultrasounds. Nervous about the potential risks that this implies, but excited to continue to see baby.

Best part of your week? She out grew her new born clothes and gained 21oz in 14 days. She is taking this growing thing seriously.
Worst part of your week? She got a vaccination at her appointment last Thursday
Milestones? More wakeful stretches and she is almost ready to smile.

In the meantime, I reached out to another photog who actually knows my cousin and knew of the situation. We are going to do a mini session on Saturday morning. We will be doing a different location/plan, but I can't bring myself to do the same ideas that my cousin had brought to the table. They won't exactly work for a newborn shoot, but hopefully they'll work for a family shoot in the future so my cousin and I can see the vision come together. I don't want to steal that from her.
Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers. They were much needed and appreciated.
