My cousin is having a baby shower next month that she didn't invite me to. Granted, the invite was a rude and classless (IMHO) Facebook invite, but I'm still hurt and bothered that she didn't invite me. I probably would not have gone, since she lives far away but still...

I secretly loved having H gone last night. He got stuck in the town he works (about 45 minutes away) because of the weather and had to stay in a hotel. I spent the evening reading and watching netflix in bed.

I like the fact that although H pretends not to, I think he's secretly watching my shows with me. They recently added the first five seasons of the old show M*A*S*H on Netflix. I used to love it as a teenager so I was a bit happy when H said I could have the tv and watch it while he did stuff on his tablet.
It made me smile a bit when he started questioning about various characters and actors, etc. It made my night even more when I noticed him looking at the tv and he didn't even have his tablet.

I'm doing it wrong. When H is gone I clean. He feels guilty for not helping
and instead of chipping in he sits there asking if I'm mad. So I do it the nights he's gone.

I'm excited that I got summoned for jury duty, only because I hate this job and I'd rather go sit at the courthouse than come to work. I hope there are cases that week and I don't just get excused because they don't need jurors.

@magpie87 I crave meat on Fridays, I guess because I know I can't have any. I couldn't care less what I eat any day of the week, but I always want meat on Friday. It's only a few weeks out of the year, we can do it!

I just ate a bowl of cereal. That is the first thing I've eaten all day other than the 2 cups of coffee that I had. It's almost 5:00 in the evening.

So I might be taking a pregnancy test tonight. We've been NTNP for a few months now (at least I don't count withdrawl as 100% preventing) and my period is due. Unless my body has decided to go rogue, I'm never late. I've been early by a day or two, but not late. It isn't yet, officially, but I normally start around lunchtime. I've been crazy emotional, my weight hasn't stayed stable (obviously it can fluctuate for a lot of reasons), my smell has been better than usual....there are a few signs! Now I'm worried that if I get my period or take a test and it's negative, I'm going to be depressed. I've really gotten excited that I might be pregnant. *sigh*

@xxjen015 you should wait until the morning to test. The pregnancy hormones are more concentrated with your first morning urine so the test will be more accurate.

@sjs1013 I know! I just got so nervous thinking about it that I went ahead last night. It was a BFN. I still haven't started. We're going OOT tonight and I'm just going to relax and enjoy myself and if I haven't started by tomorrow, I'll take another Monday morning.

@sjs1013 I know it's only for a few weeks of the year & I always manage to survive it

But knowing I'm not supposed to have it makes me want it even more!
