I think that I may have learned this from someone here, but I use my kitchen aide mixer to shred chicken and pork.
I don't know if this is a "life hack" but I use vinegar along with laundry detergent to get mildew smell out of clothes. We hang lot of our clothes and sometimes I would end up with something smelling mildew. No matter what I would do I couldn't get the mildew smell out. Once I started using vinegar it stopped. On top of that it's cheaper than buying fabric softener.
Actually, I use peroxide for like everything: cleaning, cuts, mouth wash, laundry, you name it.
