NMMR: Interview Tuesday!!!

I have a face-to-face meeting planner interview on Tuesday afternoon. Please send prayers (or whatever you believe in) for it to go well.

I also had a good phone interview (screening interview with a recruiter) for a full time position with on of my company's top competitors. I'm also expecting an interview for an internal position but I'm not sure on that yet. Both of these positions would be virtual (work from home) which would be a major perk.

And I just found out that if I'm offered the job after Tuesday's interview that it would be a $12,000 pay raise.

My first instinct was to immediately think that I was not qualified, but I know I can do the job and do it well.

Awesome! Good Luck! Working at home would be awesome. I've never been a person that had to go to an office to get work done.

OH! Good luck, good luck! It would be so great if losing your most recent job turned out to be a blessing in disguise .

I know I've had that happen to me. Got laid off on a Wednesday. Got a job offer the next week Friday. Started the following Monday. 20% raise. Plus the job I got laid off from gave me two weeks severance pay. It tickled me I was already working my next job before my severance pay "ran out", so to speak.

The last time I was laid off I received 8 weeks of severance and I found a job before it even kicked in.

I was collecting double pay for 2 months and it was awesome!
