After all that talk about traveling yesterday, let's talk about it some more. Do you have any vacations planned for this year?

We will be traveling to MI for a few days to see my family and also down to NC to see H's dad. But, I wouldn't consider these vacations.

I would love to do a few days at the beach, but I don't have a ton of time off saved up. Sigh.

May - My cousin rents a condo at the beach for her bday/car week. So mom, E and I are going from Wed-Fri.

July - we're getting the kids and booked a condo for the same beach for 4 night.

We're going down for L's bday end of Apr/ beginning of May but that's not really a vacation.

I'd really like to book a weekend for our anniversary... anywhere really.

We're actually going on vacation starting Saturday. We're driving to New Orleans and will stop in Lafayette on Saturday night, stay in NOLA Sunday to Tuesday and then drive to Destin, FL and stay at a beach house from Tuesday to Friday.

Nothing else is planned at this point, but I'd really like to go somewhere tropical in December during Christmas break with the kids. That will just depend on how much we spend on house related things. There's still A LOT left to get.

We are going on a cruise to the Bahamas in July (thanks to FIL for paying!!)

And then a week at the beach in NJ in August:)

We're going to Italy for 12 days in July.

4 days in Rome, 3 in Florence, 3 in Venice. Can't wait!! Smaller, long weekend vacations too, but nothing major like Italy.

We will take a week off and either go to OBX again, Michigan, Maine, or Florida somewhere. If we can't go anywhere, we'll take off the week of our anniversary and do a staycation here in Indy

For my spring break we're gonna spend 4 days in Gatlinburg. I can't wait. I've been planning my junk food >.< haha. This summer we'll most likely go to the beach outside Charleston like we always do with H's family. I'd like to go to Cedar Point before I get KU!!! We'll see!

Nothing planned. Hopefully some weekends down the shore. But time off is being saved for when baby comes.

If we do go anywhere this year, it won't be anything major.

I know the one thing we plan on doing is going camping at some point since we keep saying we're going to go every year and never do.

Every fall since we got married we go on a weekend trip to a cottage we stayed at for our honeymoon. We are planning to go around my birthday this fall.

Eta: my in laws gave us a gift cert for the cottage when we got married, and have done so every year since.

Nothing planned yet. I am hoping to take a few short trips away. I am considering Mystic, CT and possibly the Jersey Shore. Both aren't too far and there is a lot for O to do. I don't think she's ready for a big trip yet, maybe next year.
