Hubs with low motility/trying for a year
Hi all! This is my first time posting in the nest forums. Just wanted to see if anyone else is going through what we are. My husband and i have been trying to get pregnant for a year. Last year he got his sperm tested and he found out his motility was low (he has a son from a previous marriage though). A couple of months ago I asked him to start going to acupuncture(anything to help, right?) The acupuncturist asked hi questions relating to his health. Now my husband is on pain management due to a number of issues. He has always taken a lot less then the prescribed dose and never really went up in the couple years he has been on them. Due to this fact the ap said that his sperm are "high" which is why they aren't moving. He got off them after that appointment but now he struggles with the pain. 2 months post and still not pregnant. Not sure how long it takes the sperm to go back to normal? Does anyone else have any experience with this? Fertility isn't covered through individual insurance in CA unfortunately. Any advice or support would be appreciated.
