My whole life I was a sporadic SNL viewer and never really appreciated Amy Poehler but holy crap she's hilarious.  I'm listening to Yes Please now and I am absolutely in love with her!!

I see an SNL marathon in my future. Well, maybe not the last 40 years because that would take forever, but you know what I mean.

Confession:
Will Ferrell is pretty funny and likable during his time at SNL (from the few skits I have seen).  Maybe had I watched him since then I wouldn't hate him so much.

    I loved this book so much. I saw someone describe it as "the self-help book I didn't know I needed" and that's exactly how I felt about it. So funny and smart.

    @Hoycie, have you not watched Parks & Recreation?  If you haven't, you must!  One can't watch that and not worship Amy Poehler.  (Just don't give up after the first season -- it doesn't hit its stride until season 2.)

    Word. I (unintentionally) started watching with Season 2 and didn't know it wasn't the series opener. It didn't feel like anything was missing really, so I've never gone back to season 1. I love everything about Parks and Recreation. The whole cast with Amy at the helm is so funny.

    I rarely ever watched SNL and still haven't gotten around to Parks either, but this book was amazing. Halfway through I almost bought the audiobook just to hear it in her voice!

    I'm so happy I chose to listen to this book rather than read it.  Having Amy narrate it gives it that something extra special.  

    I'm pushing Parks & Recreation up on my list!

    This. I'm not a huge Amy Poehler fan. It's not that I dislike her, I never got into Parks and Rec and liked most of her SNL skits ok, so I was really surprised with how much I loved listening to this audiobook.
