  I've wrote one to H to go along with his wedding gift. He keeps it in his nightstand. He's written sweet things to me in a couple of cards, but he's never given me a letter.

  He'll write a message when he sends me flowers, but that's about it.  I usually write something short when I fill out cards for H.  We've never actually written a love letter to one another.

  In highschool, we would write letters just about every day! Now, we'll write short things in cards for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, etc. I have a box of our high school letters in my closet and I keep some cards in my nightstand drawer.

  For our wedding, we did not do gifts, but wrote each other a letter to open as soon as we woke up on our wedding day (we spent the night apart). We pulled them out to read again on our first anniversary, but otherwise they stay in a box with other wedding mementos. We wrote me a really sweet Valentine's Day card this year, and he haaates the idea of giving cards, so that's pretty special. I have it in my nightstand.

  I write them to DH every once in a while.  We also get each other cards for Christmas and write in them.  We keep them and DH has kept all of the letters I wrote to him.
