Technically NNMR: Pop-up Campers
So does anybody own one? Or, know a close family member who does? Any advice? Thoughts? Opinions?
We would buy a used one. But, I'm mainly asking if there are certain makes/brands that people like best - or features to highly consider.
We road trip a lot and are the camping sort of family. We have 3 kids and a new minivan - we are not looking to buy anything larger than a pop-up since we don't want to get a larger vehicle to tow it.

When we were longer, my family did camping in a large family tent that we were able to assemble and disassemble in 5 minutes.
I think that they stated with the more well-known brands and I am pretty sure that they always bought new but traded in or sold their older one.
I'd recommend looking at Craigslist and dealerships to get ideas of what you like and don't like. Lots of dealerships advertise on Craigslist in our area.
My in laws had a pop up of the longest time. The thing to look into is the interior space in case you get rained in. Some of them offer very little space. The other thing is to consider how long you plan to keep it and how old your kids are, how will the space grow with your family as the kids grow? But it is nice not to have to sleep on the ground and the set up is quicker.
My in laws two summers ago upgraded to a large camper, it's not a pop up, but the sides fold down for the beds. We comfortably stayed in there with 4 adults and were able to prepare meals fairly easily. We still used the campsite showers.
