updates on me (nothing crazy)
just thought I'd recap since I've been vague-posting for like 2 weeks. First, both our cars need to be replaced, so we aren't going to be able to move now because that's going to eat up our savings for the deposit and moving expenses. That's honestly fine with me, as I've said here many times I love where we are. Now we're going to really redecorate the apartment and try to make it more homey, and save up for a few more years before we buy a house. I'm actually please with how this all turned out.
The federal case I've been working on with that friend from law school is all screwed up for reasons beyond my control, it's stressing me out but I hope it's done soon.
Work is just bad. I'm a desk jockey and I refuse to do this the rest of my life. I will literally become a chicken farmer (goat farmer? got any tips for me @goatlady12? 
) or maybe I will move to a beach and sell jewelry made from seashells and driftwood. (It's Friday afternoon...my brain is getting crazy...humor me)

Trying to finish my novel, I'm really happy with it so far but I underestimated how hard it is to finish a novel. I wanted to produce one per quarter, now it's looking like I'll be lucky to get 3 out a year. Oh well, progress is progress.
My college roommates planned a trip to our college town and invited me at the last second. I said no. I'm really getting too old to be dealing with that kind of crap, either you want to be my friend or not, it's cool either way.
I think that's it? Anyhow like I said, nothing big, but I feel like everyday for 2 weeks I've been vaguely referencing things going on in my life, so thought I'd update those of you who were curious.

I am sorry that you won't be able to buy a home soon, but think about all the money that you'll be able to save while you're living in your apartment. Enjoy making the apartment more of your own! Please share pictures.
I can't believe that you got food poisoning right after the flu. WTF?
I am also wondering what cars you guys went for.
I hope things get better with the job. I'm just picturing when you quit and they ask you why.
