I haven't loved the past few BDB books, but I just can't quit this series. I'm not particularly interested in Trez and iAm or the band of bastards so I hope there is enough of the brothers in this one to keep me into it!

Who else is starting this today or plans to read it soon?

    It's being delivered today.  I can't quit it no matter how much I want to, true?   I haven't been into it since Qhuay didn't get the book they were meant to.  I should be able to start it maybe next week, I have a couple library books I need to finish first.

    I'm not even sure why I'm not enjoying them anymore. I love Wrath and Beth, but I didn't want another book dedicated to them.  That and I'm SO not having the pregnant Layla, Band of Bastards nonsense.

    It's not that I hate them or anything, but my hearts not in it like it used to be.  I hope that this book changes that.  It makes me sad!

    I had to look up what the last book was, so that is pretty telling that I wasn't into it. I loved this series so much and it just hasn't been the same for me over the past couple of books. I think Payne's book is where I started to lose some interest. Obviously it hasn't been enough for me to quit the brothers! I don't think I could ever do that :)

    I feel like Wrath and Beth needed another book.  They are like the "power couple" of the series, yet they had one of the weakest books of the whole series.  

    But yes, Pregnant Layla is annoying as fuck.

    I'm #5 on the list at the library so it will be a while before I get to read it.  I wasn't a fan of the last few books either but I still want to read this one.

    ETA: FFTC I kind of like Xcor though his name is stupid and annoying.

    I just started reading last night.  At least Rhage has made more of an appearance.  I'm a fan of his and feel like he was basically forgotten about after Book 2, except for the odd joke or battle here and there.
